Shabby Apple Giveaway!

I shot this dress collection recently for Shabby Apple and wanted to give a dress away from this collection! If you'd like a chance to win, comment on this post (up to 1x/day) with the name of your horse (or what you'd name your horse if you had one). Deadline is Sunday night!

Ps... Here are all the names of the horses we've had (or have!): Commotion, Patches, Sampsonite, Indiana, Ellie, Tinker Bell & Sissy.

  3. If I had a horse, I'd name him/her Shotgun. Maybe it comes from being the youngest child, but I always wanted shotgun. Of course, my brothers beat me to it. My own horse--that would be something I wouldn't have to fight for.

  10. My horse was named Sir Sinna Bask - an Arabian - but we just called him Kid because he was the youngster of the bunch. He actually just passed away last month after 22 years. Best horse ever!

  33. My MIL had a horse named Kasen and Kasen had a baby Kaharazon. I only knew Kahri. She was a good horse, but sadly, her old horse body didn't take to kindly to the move from CA to UT and had to go visit the pasture in the sky.

I've never given much thought to what I would name a horse, but I've always loved the little cartoon where one character tells the other that the little Shetland pony is named "Coughdrop" cause he's a little horse. So if I had a small horse I would name it Coughdrop.

  40. I love that dress! I would probably style it just like that with my equestrian boots that my husband likes to tease me about. When I was a little girl, I loved to play with my little toy horses, and always wished I could have a real one. I watched Audrey Hepburn's Sabrina and determined that someday, I would have a horse named Sabrina Fair. Who know, maybe someday I will!

  137. I would loooove to own the "Hackney" dress. Love the neckline and how it repeats itself on the back! That is a gorgeous dress! My second fave is the Grand National. Just love the Sidesaddle line, actually. Right up my alley.

    We've had many horses, but Saddot was my first horse. My dad used to lead him around the yard with us on bareback when we were teeny tiny. Loved that horse.

  163. I LOVE this dress! And I grew up riding with pony club and on a horse farm...so my parents still have a barn full...incl. my filly, Seanna (a 3 yr old Irish Sport Horse Connemara Cross). Hopefully as soon as I finish grad school, I'll take her back.
