I've been sitting on an old-school children's school chair for the last 4 years. It's time for a change. (My never-ending bruised tailbone also believes so.) Which do you prefer? The Wishbone or the Chinese Chippendale?
I agree... if you've got a bruised tailbone, these may not last long for you. This seems more comfortable and perhaps your style: http://www.pier1.com/catalog/browse/0300.furniture/tabid/519/CategoryID/155/List/0/Level/a/ProductID/6575/ProductName/Dana-Floral-Slipcover/Default.aspx
i would pick the one most comfortable for YOU. they are of such different aesthetic; are you really choosing between them? if i had to guess your style i'd say the Chippendale but i'm not sure i'd want that (or either) as a comfortable-for-sitting-in-and-editing-photos-for-a-long-time sort of chair. :-)
however, they are both great chairs in their own right right.
Obviously the wishbone one as it is Danish design:-) We call it the Y-chair over here, and maybe us Danes are built differently than other people, because I find it very comfortable:-)
Without wanting to be offensive....Neither - they both look really uncomfortable!! Need something with a little more structure / flex in the back.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the wishbone!
ReplyDeleteI love the Chinese Chippendale! Both are fabulous...

The wishbone chair is really great, but the legs coming up higher than the seat is a deal-breaker for me.
ReplyDeleteReally like the Chinese Chippendale!
ReplyDeletei've spent many dinner parties stuck in a wishbone chair. they're kind of awful. beautiful, classy, modern, cool, and seriously uncomfortable.

ReplyDeleteThe Wishbone, definitely! I love its simplicity!
ReplyDeleteThis chair is really very comfortable to seat. i was looking for something like this.
