Potato Pavé Rocks My World.

Man, do I love butter. I made Thomas Keller's Potato Pavé from his cookbook, Ad Hoc at Home. I can't even describe how amazing these taste... you'll just have to make it for yourself. Buy the book here, or get the recipe here.

Oh, and if you buy the book, I dare you to make his Fried Chicken. Time consuming, but soooo worth it. Puts those Southerners to shame.

  1. Oooh, his fried chicken was in a bon appetit a few years ago. I ripped it out and make it a few times every summer.

The smell of the brine alone is heaven!

  2. I LOVE Thomas Keller.. I have all FOUR of his cookbooks (three of them signed!!). Williams-Sonoma sells a pre-made Ad Hoc fried chicken kit with batter mix and instructions (I think just add water or eggs).. it's SOOOO good... although I can always see the appeal of making it at home from scratch.

  3. This is so good to know! I bought the book when we were at Ad Hoc but I have yet to make anything from the recipe book. Now, I must. Have you been to Ad Hoc?
