I love that post. It really helped me choose my starter rebel camera (which I've been very happy with). I also bought that cheap kid lens (50mm 1.8)...$99 was right in my budget and I LOVE it--much preferred over the kit lens for taking pics of my baby and avoiding the flash.
Also just got your book for Christmas...so excited to delve into it more. It's making me braver in manual--which is the reason I bought an SLR.
Oh and saw your work in a baby magazine today--from the shoot in your sidebar of the woman and baby.
