don't mean to be a downer, but according to careercast.com, "photographer" is ranked pretty darn low --between "waiter" and "ad salesperson." don't quit your day job. ;) wah wha.......

  4. This week, I learned that it is incredibly important to document love with photography. I take all my pics just for fun, and some in particular became memories for my dear friends during a loss. As well as memories for me. I never ever thought of my silly little fun photos now being the center for this couples crushed little world. But, it brings me greater joy than any high paying job could EVER bring when I see them look at these photos, and smile through their tears.

    Never stop.

  8. That's because some people don't value photography... or don't understand what makes a good picture.

I worked in television news for years and often gushed about the talent of the photographers I worked with... one day my best friend said, "I don't understand what you're gushing about... don't they just stand there and point the camera at what is going on?"

    See. they don't get it.
