who wouldn't love to shoot a kid's water party full of colorful water toys and treats? today was a great day and we were so lucky to catch a glimpse of sun btwn rainstorms. (did you read my tweet about being struck by lightning? true story. utah hates me, apparently.)

fab party by one charming party... of course. :)

  8. hey s!

As long as you have a camera that can allow you to manually adjust its settings (aperture, shutter, iso) then you're ready to go!

  10. Nicole,

Love the photos. Absolutely amazing. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what lens you were using when you shot them. I'm looking to buy a new lens and I'm having trouble deciding between the 24-105 or the 24-70 (and sometimes considering the 85mm fixed but leaning toward more of an all purpose). I keep going back and forth between the two (lower aperture vs. greater length) and just can't decide. Any guidance you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  11. Hi Lola,

I was using a combination of a few lenses. The 85mm 1.2, 90mm TS and the 24-70mm --but I do love the 24-105mm! I really like the greater length of mm the 24-105mm offers for ALL around and would still recommend that one, but I do love the 24-70!
