Hey, great poll! I hope there are plenty of activities that don't overlap but I think it would be fun to have both in the same weekend. For me, it will probably convince my hubby to agree to the trip, since I'm always asking to go up for Homecoming weekend. The Art Weekend will push it over the edge. I'll keep my fingers crossed...
I didn't attend BYU and am not sure how big the homecoming weekend is, but would there perhaps be a shortage of hotel rooms (and fewer hotel discounts) for those of us flying in to attend if it were the same weekend as BYU homecoming?
you need another option that says "who cares about BYU homecoming anyways" I never once went when I was a student. Just not a big deal besides the football game.
Does anyone even go to the football game "especially" because it's Homecoming? Are there other festivities? (How shameful that I don't know; I even went to BYU!) I would say you aren't going to lessen your chances of a great turnout at all by having it the same weekend.
How about, "I went to Utah and don't care about BYU. But I live in Utah Co. now and would gladly avoid BYU homecoming for a crash course!" Don't worry, I married a BYU fan. :)
I would definitely go whether it was the same weekend or BYU homecoming or not. But I could sure use a higher level photography class. thanks! Can't wait to see you again!
I WANT to come again to art weekend. I just need a higher level photography class. or ceative lighting.
ReplyDeleteI live near Provo, and as much as I love BYU, I wouldn't mind a good excuse to avoid all the traffic that comes with homecoming.

ReplyDeleteYou need two more options: 1 - would ditch the festivities for you, 2 - don't go to BYU anyhow.
ReplyDeleteI am the second one.

ReplyDeleteOption C should be - Don't care about BYU (period)... Homecoming or not. :)
