Some people have fathers their whole lives and never will be able to experience the love and amazing example that my father showed my sister, brother and I.

ReplyDeleteMine's weird, and I'd never say it at the Thanksgiving table, but I'll write it here. I'm thankful for my body. It has has worked hard, with very few complaints, to take me from a plus-sized shrinking violet to a slim and confident runner. I'm in awe of the strength of my heart, the resilience of my joints, the memory in my muscles, and the elasticity of my skin. I am so grateful for this endlessly adaptable and able body and what it has allowed me to become.

ReplyDeleteT- Time: there never seems to be enough but I've learned to use it to my advantage.
H- Husband: my husband is the BEST. Seriously, I came back from the art weekend and he had spent the entire time with our three girls. While I was gone, Brooklyn even peed on his wallet. (other fun things happened too) Even so, I walked in the door to find everything clean and in order. Also, he had spent the evenings making me a new Foutch Coutch blog header. It Rocks!
A- Apartments: I am thankful for the apartment we live in. It's tough being a family of 5 in a small apartment. I'm just thankful we have such a cute place to live.
N- Naps: Ohhh! How grateful I am for naps. Seriously, when else would I get my sanity back?
K- Kids: I love my 3 little kids/girls. They make me CRAZY with their crying, their messes, their nagging, and their never ending reliance on ME. Still, I love them. They are mine and they love me. They make me laugh and cry.
F- Foutch: My maiden name is Thompson and lets just say it took some time for me to get use to the last name, FOUTCH. I love and honor my new last name now.
U- University: We are in school, still. I am thankful for my husband who is so willing to trek on.
L- LOVE: What else would I put? Seriously, there is nothing I could be more thankful for than the Love of Christ. It is what I strive to have with me on a daily basis.
And that’s what I am THANKFUL for. Happy Thanksgiving.
PS- Yes, I saw their new dresses. They made me drool. I LOVE Shappy Apple!
