website suggestions.

i've always managed nicolephoto.com from design to programming, but as you can tell, i haven't kept it up! bottom line: it takes WAY too long for me to work in flash. i've been looking through some editable portfolio sites like livebooks, but i'm not sure i'm ready to splurge for it when i'm paying for the new online classes website. (which, sorry to say, will take longer than expected.)

anyway, anyone aware of any other good editable portolio options? doesn't have to be flash. thanks.

  1. At the photography studio that I work at {http://www.carrieworkman.com} we use BluDomain {bludomain.com}, and it works pretty well. It is flash and it's very easy to add and remove content. Their website range from $100 to $400. Pretty affordable. Plus, they have quite a few designs to choose from.

Hope this information helps you some!

  2. Check out Photobiz and Showit sites, both have monthly fees and can be changed when you are tired of the layout.

  3. You could look into Other People's Pixels-I believe it's $99, probably an annual fee but the websites are very professional looking. I'm currently using a free Carbonmade site which I do not at all recommend.

  7. bludomain for sure. I use them because they're the most inexpensive option I've found and provide the same look and feel and features as all the others. Best deal around.
