I'm convinced...

that at some point, all photographers have had their phases photographing eggs and flowers. here are some beautiful eggs my mother's neighbor brought over from her chicken coop.

  1. Ha! Loved this post and those might be the prettiest eggs I've ever seen! That chicken's got class!

    But seriously—love these photos.

  9. well, anyway, it was I who deleted the comment.

i tried to send you a link to my Flickr photos of today's egg shots! I laughed the whole time, because while I have taken my share of flower photos, never eggs, until you mentioned it yesterday. I kind of liked how they turned out, surprisingly. Nothing I'd print, but...

I just appreciate your always answering my questions on Formspring and for the inspiration. I love photography and your answers have helped a lot.

I'm the "43-year-old-intern" and shminbabe on Flickr if you care to see "my eggs". I haven't put much on Flickr at all, but I think I'm going to start playing over there.

Also, I did have my photo printed on fine art paper (found a local spot) and oh my gosh!!! It's beautiful! I am having two more done (not cheap); I just had 'em mounted on foam board and display them on a wooden black easel (8 x 12) and I feel like a real artist! Photo exhibition at my house: an audience of one (no one else is interested but I can't stop looking at it; makes me happy.)

Can't wait to start interning for this cool photog; you helped me to feel confident when I went to meet him.

    Have a nice weekend.
