pilates room

welcome back, you love birds. i was surprised by my husb with tickets to the ballet. how dreamy is that?

anyway, wanted to show off my pilates room -which isn't finished but i don't really think it ever will be. (like those curtains on a shower curtain rod? fuhgettaboudit.)

we have an extra half bedroom which is really our closet full of my crap. if you haven't noticed, i have lots of hobbies and therefore, LOTS of stuff... and unfortunately, i need all of it. on the other side of the room is my pilates reformer where i try to work out more often --and teach a few sessions in between.

the HUGE picture is a picture of me (middle) with s1 and s3 swinging at our park. i love this picture so much because nothing is posed... we didn't even know the picture was taken and never really noticed it until s1 found it last year.

  2. I mentioned wanting to go months ago and he said no way..

so it was a surprise that he volunteered it.

don't think he'd go again anytime soon, but...

  4. where do you get old pictures like that blown up? I've tried some of the "canvas making" sites, but if the picture taken wasn't intended to be blown up- they are all grainy..

  5. hey nicole - cute room...

what caught my eye was the lime green fabric in the last pic, up against the wall...i bought 12 yards of that exact fabric here in orem at 'home fabric' a few weeks ago {which is a store i usually dislike...another story} and in the process of me designing my new 'art studio', i made a table cloth for my LARGE work desk...it's trimmed in deep turqoise pon poms {so cute} and it was just funny to see it pop up in your pic too!

    hope all is well.

  13. We have a room in our house called the "closet room" - a room full of "stuff" but also funtioning as our closet as s.f. homes have tiny little closets. I too have many hobbies and the stashing can get so overwhelming...

  14. I have been reading your blog for a few weeks-so inspired by the photography. Did a little double take when I saw your Allegro reformer. I also have a studio in a spare bedroom - the Allegro reformer without the tower (someday soon I hope)
I am just starting out and it made my day to see someone else with a home studio. Thanks for the perfect pick me up.
