I was asked by a former student (who is actually a real teacher) to be a guest speaker for her classes. I had a fun time talking to 5 classes of great students about entrepreneurship, food styling and marketing. I loved seeing their faces change as I was explaining how many options they have. It was even better to hear the students really responded to it. Thanks for inviting me, Ms. Booth!
Here I am showing them how to make fake ice cream.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I can only imagine how much of a pain in the butt it is to shoot real ice cream, haha.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever commented on how much I like your blog! I LOVE all your posts and really admire everything you do. I've been inspired on more than one occassion
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I'm actually kind of jealous.
ReplyDeleteHow amazing is it that you're talking to students about entrepreneurship?! It seems like the only people who ever came to talk to us in junior high were librarians, policemen and bankers (not that those aren't fine careers, but it would have been amazing at that stage to know about more creative endeavors).
ReplyDeletelove that picture! your hair is getting long
ReplyDeleteadam is a lucky lucky man. :)
ReplyDeleteHow very cool. I'm intrigued...just how DO you make fake ice cream?
ReplyDeleteI so wish I'd known about your type of career options in high school! In our family there was an unspoken motto of "traditional college or bust".
Yes, I'm curious too...how DO you make fake ice cream?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun experience! You are a great teacher so I'm sure you were fun to have as a quest speaker!
