In Polish tradition, we dye easter eggs in brown onion skins. They develop a gorgeous caramelly color, and for the truly committed, you etch out designs in the shell with a needle (shows up white). When we first came to the US and I was a child, I thought it was nothing special and wanted all the different colors and glitter that everyone else had, but now realize that ours were pretty special the way they were.
Lovely images! Could you tell me what font you used? I am creating a graduation announcement and it is what I've been looking for!
