Evie Update
Teeny is 11 weeks old today! I think this is my favorite week with her because she's even more smudgeable and talkative. (hmm.. wonder where she got that.) We tried tummy-time and this is her 3rd attempt. Of course, I think she's advanced and genius. (what mommy doesn't?) You can see in the pictures, she's pretty proud of herself. ps. her hair is actually really black like her nana's... the backlit scenario doesn't show it well.
We also had the opportunity to have her baby blessing last week - a church ceremony where she was officially given her name, Evie Marie Gerulat. She looked so precious in her gown and we loved being surrounded by our friends and family for the event.

How's she doing w/ tummy time? My son *hated* it and subsequently I hated having to make him do it. I was so relieved when he got big enough to put in the johnny jump-up or the jumperoo!

Rachel: I'm sure she doesn't love it, but at the beginning I think she just surprises herself. She's probably only there for 20 seconds until her head starts dropping and she's grunting. ;)

Not only is she cute, she is such a pretty baby too! What a lucky baby to have a mommy that can capture it all like that!
