Adam and I were thrilled to be asked to be a part of The Nest's spring issue! It was fun playing double duty as photographer and "moddddelllll" (a horrible one at that!!). I had a fantastic crew that did a great job making us and our home look presentable... and can you imagine shoving 10 people into 500 sq ft of our 800 sq ft apartment?
As soon as I get my hands on a copy, I'll share it with you --until then.. here are some that didn't make the cut. (Molly got to be a star, too!)
Molly looks gorgeous, as does your house! I love the black book case, and the way your bed matches the curtains... I wish I had the patience to make things match! Congrats, I'll have to order the issue!
i remember when you took that picture of that blue truck!! seems like FOREVER ago. GORGEOUS PLACE!! i am coming this summer for sure!!! let's plan dates! :)
This is a long shot but do you remember where you purchased the blue birch jewelry stand? Anthro had one a few years back and I didn't purchase it and have FOREVER regretted that decision. Am currently lusting after yours. :)
Ahhhhh of course you have that whole collection of books with the new designs. OF COURSE. I'm drooling at these photos. I want every piece that's here.
i absolutely love it and congrats on being on the mag... I'm sure it's a very exciting thing!!! come over and check out my latest blog... have a great week!
What a gorgeous gorgeous abode! I am most jealous :) I love the picture of the truck above the bed! Wonderful! I will be taking lots of inspiration from this post!
THANK you for the inspiration for how to display my beloved, vintage Canon AE-1. I wish I had three, or five cameras, though- 3s and 5s are just so... symmetrical to me. One is better than than two, though!
Your place is great, and perfectly styled for a photo shoot.
These pics are kind of freaking me out. You have the way better version of my house. We have incredibly similar sofas, I have the same rug in yellow, we have the same headboard and same bedside tables. I need to hire you to come finish decorating my house, cause clearly it will come out just like I would do it, but ten times better.
your home is absolutely lovely. i especially love how you have the vintage cameras on cake stands. i'm definitely going to steal that idea!!!! thanks so much for sharing!
You have a beautiful and cozy home! Great little details. Love the silver planters w/ the cheerful flowers on your doorstep. I've been searching for a jewelry stand like yours for ever. Saw one a couple years ago at Urban Outfitters. :( Love love LOVE the cakestands! Is that white nightstand from Ikea? I just bought the same one last month. Hehe.
I saw the feature on Friday and I loved it! My family was in town and I showed it to them all - "hey look, this is my photo teacher!" Thanks for sharing extra shots here, great job :)
your house is so cute! and I couldn't help but notice that the picture with bunch of frames has one that says "I love you" in Korean. Did your husband serve his mission there? I am Korean after all. ;)
Nicole, Beautiful home! I was wondering what you use to stick your polaroids to the wall? I've used blue painters tape, but they fall down all the time.
I just found your site and damn girl you are talented! I love your photography and your style and just about everything I have seen on your site! I especially love your house style. Bee-ute-iful. Added to my blogroll? check.
