horses and other things

this weekend, i bought blue spray paint and turned my home goods horse bookends from

this

to this:

it was very satisfying. also --we saw alice in wonderland in 3d (i thought it was magical).

and when our couscous fell off our makeshift pantry shelves this morning, i looked down and the spill formed this:

happy tuesday!

I love that blue.

And this post reminds me that I need to buy the newest Coralie Bickford-Smith books to finish up my set. Where did buy yours?

Great color! I bought an old sewing machine case at the DI and spray painted it that same color, added glass knobs and wala, a nightstand! Projects like that are so satisfying! It was so magical! I loved loved loved it!

Firstly-love the horses.

Secondly-why did you have to show us the new Coralie Bickford-Smith books? I just spent the last 20 minutes tracking them down. So gorgeous. Rats, I had planned on getting perfume for Mother's Day, but now I don't think I can stand not adding these to the collection. Dang, I really needed perfume!

That is one of my favorite colors to use for painting fun little tchotchkes. And love Alice too. So adventurous!

Oh I love the blue horses - good color pick! And those lovely books don't hurt either. I have two of them and hope to collect the whole set.

I was noticing your set of books. I bought the same set from that Canadian seller when you posted about them awhile ago. I have 10 in my set (the first 10 from the left in your picture) but I noticed you had some others, like Alice in Wonderland. Are those also part of that penguin set or are they a different series? Where did you find them? (Sorry, so many questions!)

hi melinda! they are the NEW series that I got from Canada (but I think i'm still missing 2-3 from the set) --same site --just looked up their ISBN numbers.... but they do have picture thumbnails so you probably don't have to if you do a search.
