in-n-out crush

i am so happy for my hometown of orem, utah who will be getting an in-n-out soon. my love for the cheeseburger-animal-style-extra-pickles started when i was really little. i'm a huge fan.. need more proof? in school, we were asked to design a map from scratch using illustrator. mine was in-n-out themed ---even though these actual locations don't all exist --they were in my fantasy world -a world where in-n-out is in every city.

  1. One of my favorite things about In-n-Out is the exclusivity.

I wish they had stayed to California. It's kind of like when I'm in Iowa and I can giggle when filling up my car at Kum & Go. It's just not as special if it's everywhere.

Or White Castle. From what I've heard, not actually that spectacular as far as food is concerned, but the novelty of the slider is magnified just a bit by it being regional.

To be fair, I live in Sacramento, and I find it difficult to go to Sonic because it's all about the midwest for me. So I'm not just trying to deprive others from the magic that is In-n-Out.

  2. What's more, there's a second Orem location in the works not two blocks from your old condo.

You moved just in time. For those of us still within walking distance: 20 Calories There + 20 Calories Back = Not Nearly Enough.
