gorgeous nic. did you build the set?
Nicole,You are such an amazing photographer! Every picture you have posted is gorgeous. I am amazed by your talent and creativity. I love your lighting and vibrant backdrops. Do you still shoot weddings? I have a few friends on their way to the altar. Do you mind if I link you on my blog for everyone to be able to enjoy your work as much as I do?
natalie*: yes.. we built the set.. it's the same as the nursery and the kitchen set... but i brought all the bedding and most the furniture from my own bedroom.
These are wonderful, Nicole. I'm ready to go curl up in bed with my baby ... my hubby.I want to know how you got those overhead shots. (You know me.) Were you on a ladder?
thanks, ali!it was tricky to get directly overhead shots.. we actually rigged the camera to a tripod top which was attached to a snazzy stand... we had a cable release hanging down to hit the shutter and had a video feed cord connected to a tv -which is how we saw the image and live feed to focus it.. it was intense.. and so awesome too. You could get on a ladder, but you wouldn't be directly overhead.
That was fun! You talents always amaze me. Rome is still talking about how he got to jump on the bed. Thanks again.Angie
Well, there you go. Sounds technical, which is why I leave the hard stuff to the pro. You. :)Thanks for the explanation.
