Nicole,
You are such an amazing photographer! Every picture you have posted is gorgeous. I am amazed by your talent and creativity. I love your lighting and vibrant backdrops. Do you still shoot weddings? I have a few friends on their way to the altar. Do you mind if I link you on my blog for everyone to be able to enjoy your work as much as I do?

natalie*: yes.. we built the set.. it's the same as the nursery and the kitchen set... but i brought all the bedding and most the furniture from my own bedroom.

These are wonderful, Nicole. I'm ready to go curl up in bed with my baby ... my hubby.

I want to know how you got those overhead shots. (You know me.) Were you on a ladder?

thanks, ali!

it was tricky to get directly overhead shots.. we actually rigged the camera to a tripod top which was attached to a snazzy stand... we had a cable release hanging down to hit the shutter and had a video feed cord connected to a tv -which is how we saw the image and live feed to focus it.. it was intense.. and so awesome too. You could get on a ladder, but you wouldn't be directly overhead.

Well, there you go. Sounds technical, which is why I leave the hard stuff to the pro. You. :)

Thanks for the explanation.
