photoshop and illustrator classes

I'm thrilled to announce that i'm bringing on a fantasticly talented husband/wife team to teach Illustrator and Photoshop classes in my basement classroom! These classes will start in MARCH.

Please carefully read the description, requirements and signup instructions for each class below:

ILLUSTRATOR 101

Alma works as a designer for FranklinCovey. She designed their current limited edition Rhapsody planning pages as well as many of the cute linings in FranklinCovey's totes. She also designed the banner for a new blog, petit elefant. She uses Illustrator to make wedding invitations, calendars, and other fun projects.

Class Requirements: a laptop must be brought to every class with illustrator downloaded. (you can download a free trial for the class.)

Class Cost: $90

Class Dates: Please email with your preference: Mondays at 6:30 or 8:00pm or Saturdays at 10:00am. Classes will be held once a week for four weeks, for 1 1/2 hrs.

To Sign Up: Please email alma(dot)mcginn(at)gmail(dot)com to reserve a space. An address to send the check will be provided if there is space, and the class payment will be due immediately. Please note that the class payment will be refundable up until one week before class starts. Afterwards, it will only be refunded if the spot can be filled with someone else.

PHOTOSHOP 101

Mike works as the Director of Post-Production for Rubberball Productions -a stock photography company. He is in charge of acquiring thousands of images every month and is in charge of a team of 5 retouchers. His class will discuss the proper ways of acquiring images, learning Photoshop tools for retouching and designing, and will discuss better methods of the photographer's workflow through batching and creating Photoshop actions.

Class Requirements: a laptop must be brought to every class with Photoshop CS3 downloaded. (you can download a free trial for the class.)
